I didn't like this one quite as much as the first, (my 4 stars is actually rounded up from 3.5). I think, though, that being honest, this is a little bit of "it's me, not the book" -- I was listening to this as an audiobook, and I didn't always give it the mental attention I should have. I also stopped and took a break, so when I came back to it, it had been several months since I'd listened to the first part.Having said that, the imagination on display is quite remarkable. It makes me think of fairy tales that twist and wind and you wonder "what was that," but then eventually it all cames back together and things work out the way they are supposed to.
