I fall in the "not a fan of angel books" camp, but keep seeing that this series is enjoyed even by those of my ilk.I grabbed a stack of books at the library the other day and started reading....and yep. I enjoyed this one. The explanations of the fantastic elements worked for me, I bonded with the characters, loved the scenery, and yes, I have some new book crushes. Thankfully this first did not end on a cliffhanger, although the love triangle might end up being annoying. I'm withholding judgement on that point.Now, to find the time to get to the library to get the rest of the series!
