Mockingbird
Like the first book, Blackbirds, Mockingbird is not a feel good book -- it's more like a gut punch, or a grab around the throat to make you pay attention and keep reading. Miriam is very compelling, and the mystery she's involved with in this book is very disturbing with twists and turns that kept me guessing.
