Black Heart (Curse Workers)
I wasn't sure I really liked the characters in this series after the previous books, but I really liked the way this all wrapped, and I was much happier with Cassel Sharpe, the main character, after this wrap-up of the trilogy. The curse worker concept is really interesting. I would guess that there are many stories that could be told in this universe.
