I adored this book. I loved the characters, I loved the structure, with the story passing from woman to woman, and I loved the voices of the characters -- the words they used and how the language flowed. Sometimes when I read a book that has pop culture references, they seem jarring, like they pull me out and I think, well...that's going to be dated in a few year...but the references Jackson used seemed just right.I have enjoyed reading her blog, but haven't always quite enjoyed her books as much as the blog, at least not until this book.
