I was so excited when I saw that there was a new book about the Spellmans, and was beyond thrilled that it was available at the library the day after I requested it. And even better: it was worth. I love the Spellmans and their various friends and acquaintances. I love Lutz's writing style, too, and her footnotes crack me up.I'm sure you could read this one without having read the previous books, but I'm not sure why you'd want to: I think it's worth getting to know the Spellmans from the start...The Spellman Files
