I'd actually give this more of a 2.5 star rating. It was OK enough that I wanted to finish, but it wasn't fabulous. The writing was sort of so-so. Not as bad as some that I've read, but definitely not great. Not sure if I'll read more or not. This was a free Nook book this past spring, and I had sort of forgotten about it.
