I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I decided to try it thanks to a review that said something about it having the flavor of Ocean's Eleven, and I'm glad I saw that. I liked it so much that I've already finished the 2nd and am partway through the third. The system of magic was a little confusing at first, and I'm not sure I've completely gotten it, but it's not putting me off. I liked that it had a really strong female lead character, but other than Vin, women were pretty much...nonexistent, which is unfortunate.There were plenty of twists and turns to keep me interested, and I definitely cared about the main characters, which is a lot of what keeps me hooked on a book.
